Job Details
Baer is looking for a Python Developer for a 6+ month project located in Jersey City, NJ.
Title: Python Developer
Location: Hybrid - Jersey City, NJ (4 days/week)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: All-Inclusive
Alignment: W2
Description:
- Design, develop, test, and optimize scalable Python applications.
- Work with Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration of microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical requirements.
- Write complex SQL queries and manage data operations.
- Maintain and improve application performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues; provide ongoing technical support.
- Communicate effectively with client stakeholders, including director-level personnel.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Python, Kubernetes, and SQL.
- Proven ability to work as an individual contributor in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Financial Services and Payments industry experience (SWIFT MT/MX) is highly desirable.
- Must be local to or willing to commute to Jersey City, NJ.
