Job Details

Job Title : Information Systems Architect - Project Lead
Estimated Duration: 12 Months
Location :- Columbia, SC 29201 - Role is hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

The Client is looking for a highly motivated professional with extensive technical project leadership experience and strong knowledge of the SDLC to lead the Web Application Development team. This individual will be responsible for delivering new re-engineering initiatives and providing ongoing maintenance and support for IT systems within the program area.
Desired Qualifications

  • Strong leadership abilities.

  • Solid understanding of systems engineering concepts, modeling techniques, and methodologies.

  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external IT partners.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture and project leadership.

  • 8+ years of project leadership experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA).

  • Experience with Human Services systems such as Child Welfare, SNAP, or TANF.

  • Understanding of data privacy regulations, including PII and PHI requirements.
