About the Role:

Renuity Home is seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in React and Next.js to join our dynamic team. This is a short-term contract role with the potential for extension, offering the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid setup from anywhere in the U.S.

You will be responsible for building high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly web applications that enhance the customer experience in the home improvement domain. This role requires a strong understanding of modern frontend technologies, architecture, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React and Next.js.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain reusable components and libraries.
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across browsers and devices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8 12 years of total software development experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with React.js.
  • 2+ years of experience with Next.js, including SSR and static site generation.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern development workflows.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization and accessibility standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
