Job Details

Job Summary
The Senior Technical Consultant (Oracle Reporting) is responsible for providing expertise in Oracle Reporting to support clients in optimizing their reporting processes. They will be tasked with designing, developing, and implementing Oracle reports to meet business requirements and enhance decision-making capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to gather reporting requirements and understand business needs
  • Design and develop oracle reports using tools such as oracle bi publisher, oracle reports builder, and other relevant technologies
  • Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of reports to ensure they meet quality standards and user expectations
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on accessing and interpreting reports
  • Stay updated on oracle reporting tools and technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements
  • extract and map daily patient demographic and financial updates from Cerner RCM, including the Profit module
  • Analyze Cerner Revenue Cycle workflows, including billing, collections, and claims processing.
  • Develop and maintain CCL scripts for reporting and data extraction.
  • Perform SQL queries and data analysis within Oracle databases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand financial reporting accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Cerner RCM system issues.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data security standards.

Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in oracle reporting tools such as oracle bi publisher, oracle reports builder, etc.
2. Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts
3. Ability to gather and analyze business requirements for report development
4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
5. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with clients and internal teams
6. Detail oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality reports that meet user needs

Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Oracle Reports Developer certification is preferred

Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Cerner Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
  • Strong knowledge of Cerner Millennium, CCL scripting, and SQL queries.
  • Experience with Oracle databases and ETL processes.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize billing and financial workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Cerner Profit module and claims rules development.
  • Familiarity with Discern Rules and front-end configuration tools.
  • Prior experience in EHR application domains and workflow analysis
