The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
The Middleware Integration Application Administrator will be responsible for sustaining multiple Mission Critical integration platforms while also delivering innovative, high quality support services to customers. This role is responsible for core administration responsibilities such as upgrades, patches, monitoring and compliance for the full suite of API-SOA platforms, which includes Apigee API Management, Axway API Gateway and Oracle SOA Suite. This role will also require architecture, design and development of new integration scope on these platforms, as well as participation in the Production support rotation. Due to the high level of interaction with both internal and external business partners, this individual must possess strong communication skills, work well in team environments and be able to trouble shoot issues independently and effectively.
What You Will Do:
As a support analyst, provides advanced problem solving and technical support, including on-call critical support as well as assist in continuous review and enhancement of team procedures to increase the team's effectiveness and efficiency in the support of our clients.
Serves on 24x7 on-call support rotation for Mission Critical applications.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. What You Will Do:
- Contributes to the functional roadmap and API-SOA strategy for the Enterprise, including recommendations for new products, processes, policies, standards or operating plans in support of the functional strategy.
- Contributes to and develops the architectural and operational plans for the API-SOA product line.
- Owns the relationship with vendor support from Google, Oracle and Axway on technical and functional issues.
- Plans and performs all system related upgrades and patches for the full suite of API-SOA platforms, which includes Apigee API Management, Axway API Gateway and Oracle SOA Suite.
- Performs monitoring and tuning across API-SOA landscape, including server performance monitoring and server capacity management.
- Drives the API-SOA business continuity plan including running point on disaster recovery planning, testing and execution.
- As a developer, designs and builds the transformation of various data streams, including B2B-EDI and XML, into internal and external system formats, working closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers and customers to refine requirements and document technical designs.
- Supports detailed reviews of design and code to ensure maximum use of reusable modules, minimal impact on existing applications and systems, the highest possible overall quality, etc.
- Guides, mentors and develops others across team and Enterprise around API-SOA.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline, and minimum 10 years related experience, or equivalent experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels, strong work ethic and proven perseverance in driving an issue through to completion and obtaining intended result, and strong customer service approach and ability to collaborate and work well with others.
- Mastery knowledge of Application Programming Interface (API), Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) technologies.
- Mastery administration and development knowledge in the Oracle SOA Suite application, or equivalent, as well as Apigee API Management, Axway API Gateway, or equivalent.
- Mastery administration and monitoring knowledge in Splunk Enterprise, or equivalent, as well as Linux OS and Oracle DB environments as it related to application administration.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Working knowledge of IT security, such as network security, application security, and cloud security.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow Incident and Change management, or equivalent.
- Strong experience with WebLogic Scripting Language (WLST), SQL scripting, Unix scripting, ANT scripting and Python scripting.
- Strong experience with source control system integration with API-SOA, especially SVN.
- Solid understanding of EDI collaboration and related supply chain and financial transaction sets.
