Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Project Manager for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients located in Detroit, MI!
Title: Project Manager
Location: Detroit, MI / Remote
Duration: 6+ Months with extension
Role Type: W2 Contract Engagement
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager for infrastructure modernization and lifecycle projects. We also support the delivery of Cybersecurity projects involving Identify Access Management, new tools and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and define the scope of application migrations, including dependencies and integrations with critical systems such as billing.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the product management group and the mergers team, facilitating communication and ensuring that product managers, who may lack technical expertise, are well-informed about project developments.
- Lead and manage multiple ongoing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Utilize your background in informatics to understand healthcare workflows, ask pertinent questions, and drive project success.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, risk assessments, and project plans.
Qualifications:
- Infrastructure experience required.
- Minimum of 2+ years of IT project management experience, with a strong emphasis on healthcare IT.
- Understanding of hospital workflows.
- Ability to understand and manage technical aspects of IT projects, even if the product management team does not possess deep technical expertise.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills with a track record of successfully managing complex IT projects.
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field is preferred.
