IT QA Automation

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking an experienced IT QA Automation professional to lead the quality and testing efforts for key programs and systems. The QA will evaluate product functionality and performance, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvements. This position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive testing frameworks, including functional, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.

Key Responsibilities include:
* Creating and executing test plans, automating functional and load testing
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve defects
* Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
* Promoting quality assurance best practices to enhance user experience and reduce defects

REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 4 years of experience with QA automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools
* Experience in creating, executing, and documenting comprehensive test plans and test cases
* Experience in collaborating with business SMEs and technical teams to resolve issues and improve testing processes
* Experience with healthcare data, particularly related to health plans or clinical data, is highly preferred
* Solid understanding of regression, functional, smoke, performance, and security testing at a fundamental level
* Familiarity with SQL query writing and the ability to apply subject matter knowledge in testing scenarios
* Familiarity with healthcare product suites (e.g., QNXT, Care Advance, TCS) is advantageous
* Knowledge of system development lifecycle methodologies such as Waterfall, RUP, and Agile
* Proficiency in writing and reporting test bugs, preferably using Jira or equivalent tools, and documenting test workflows and steps
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Ability to automate functional and load testing using automation tools
* Ability to maintain and execute automation (Selenium) and performance (LoadRunner) scripts is essential
* Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams
* Experience with Atlassian Jira and test management tools is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
