Role- IT Systems Administrator
Duration: 6 months
Location- VA
Only on W2 No C2C
Key Points of the Role:
1) Build New infrastructures
2) Consolidate Logos Networks and Servers (VMWare) and Transition then Integrate them into Sparton's (HyperV)
3) Sync up the protocols from Sparton to Logos
Role and Responsibility :
Responsible for the configuration, maintenance, support, security, and reliable operation of all computer networks within the company.
Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for the configuration, maintenance and reliable operation of all network infrastructure devices such as switches, firewalls, routers, etc.

Responsible for the security of the company network, including ingress and egress traffic.

Partner with the systems administrator to help monitor, support, and maintain the company servers, applications, and other technologies.

Provide escalated support to Helpdesk/Desktop Support personnel.

Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.

Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
Required Education and Experience

2-year degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Services or related field OR a combination of education and relevant experience

A minimum of 5 years of network management administration experience.
Required Qualifications
-
IT Certifications: Cisco, Microsoft, or other network related fields.

Working knowledge of Cisco iOS, Fortigate firewalls, or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.

Strong experience in VMWare and HyperV

Experience with scripting and automation tools.

A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans.

Strong knowledge of implementation and effective development of helpdesk and IT operations best practices.
