Functional knowledge of SAP finance modules (GL, AP/AR, FA, CO)
Experience with data mapping, data dictionaries, and transformation logic documentation
Hands-on experience writing and executing test plans, including functional integration testing
Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work onsite with business stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytics Cloud
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience
Familiarity with Finance Accounting Transformation and Finance data migration
Experience supporting financial reconciliation, audit readiness, or compliance-driven data initiatives
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, or Azure
Comfortable working in hybrid project delivery environments with Agile or waterfall elements
Senior Data Analyst Overview
Serve as a key contributor in a complex SAP R/3 to S/4HANA finance migration project
Ensure accuracy and alignment of financial data within the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Finance Data Mart through detailed mapping, validation, and testing
Collaborate with business partners, BI developers, SAP stakeholders, and data engineering teams to support data transformation and reporting requirements
Play a critical role in profiling, cleansing, transforming, and validating financial data for enterprise-wide initiatives
Support testing cycles, reporting needs, and post-migration validation to ensure seamless data integration and business readiness
Partner with project managers and cross-functional teams to provide updates, maintain issue logs, and align deliverables with timelines
Job Duties
Lead the creation and maintenance of EDW data mapping documentation between EDW and Finance system (SAP)
Collaborate with business and functional leads to gather and clarify financial data transformation and reporting requirements
Support data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and validation activities
Assist in writing and executing test strategies, including:
oUnit testing
oFunctional integration testing
oUser acceptance testing (UAT)
Work closely with the BI reporting team to validate data structures and support post-migration reporting needs
Partner with data engineers and solution architects to define and verify transformation rules
Log and track issues, support resolution during test cycles, and maintain testing/validation documentation
Contribute to SteerCo reporting by providing data readiness updates, issue status, and impact summaries
Work with project managers to maintain and support the RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
Collaborate with offshore and onshore teams to align on requirements, deliverables, and timelines
