Job Description
Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager / Client Partner with a strong track record of selling IT consulting and offshore services in areas such as Cloud, Data Analytics, AI/ML, Business Intelligence, and Custom Software Development. This is a strategic role focused on driving revenue growth through new client acquisition and expanding existing client relationships in target verticals such as BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, or Technology.
Candidate has the following responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in IT consulting services (Cloud, Data, AI, BI, Software and App Development etc) with a focus on offshore delivery models.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline; consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
- Develop account strategies, nurture long-term client relationships, and act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to create tailored service offerings and proposals.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to effectively position our services.
- Support contract negotiation, pricing, and client onboarding processes.
Key Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development in the IT services/consulting industry.
- Proven success in selling offshore / global delivery services and managing multi-geography client relationships.
- Strong domain understanding in one or more of the following: Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), Data Engineering, AI/ML, BI, Application Development, or Digital Transformation.
- Deep understanding of the full sales lifecycle and enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN, Challenger, MEDDIC).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in working with proposal/RFP teams, solution architects, and delivery units.
- Bachelor s degree in business, engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience selling to verticals like Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, or Retail.
- Network of CXO-level contacts in target markets.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, matrixed, and multicultural environment.
- Ability to travel as required.
