Job Details

Job Title: QNXT API Developer

Location: Remote - PST preference

Experience: 14+ Years

Must Have's: QNXT API Development, .Net, Kafka, and SQL

Core Responsibilities:

  • The QNXT API Developer will be sponsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications within the QNXT framework, with a focus on API integrations, particularly between QNXT and other healthcare systems or portals such as Optum, that will provide seamless data exchange. They will work with technologies like ASP.NET, .NET Framework, and SQL Server, and often need to understand healthcare EDI standards, HIPAA compliance, and Agile methodologies.
  • The QNXT API Developer will be sponsible for Architecting and implementing solutions for integrating QNXT with various healthcare platforms, to support claims processing, attachments and Utilization Management.
  • The QNXT API Developer will be sponsible for Developing and optimizing SQL Server database structures, queries, and stored procedures related to API interactions and data management.
  • The QNXT API Developer will participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to testing and deployment.
  • The QNXT API Developer will assist with troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system enhancements related to API functionality.
  • The QNXT API Developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, vendors, and other developers, to deliver integrated solutions.
  • The QNXT API Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation for APIs, integrations, and system designs.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Deep understanding of the QNXT framework, its data model, and its capabilities for claims processing, configuration, and other functionalities.
  • Strong proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, .NET Framework, and related technologies, including web forms, web services, and API development.
  • Expertise in SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and stored procedure development.
  • Familiarity with healthcare EDI standards, HIPAA compliance, and the broader healthcare landscape, including claims processing and payer systems.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and other API technologies.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud platforms like Azure.

Additional Desired Skills

  • Experience with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) and HL7 (Health Level Seven) standards, particularly for data exchange and interoperability.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and other development operations tasks.
  • Experience with data visualization tools for building custom dashboards and reports.
  • Experience with Tidal for job scheduling and automation.
