- This Product Manager will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle for multiple desktop software products, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, supply chain, marketing and support to ensure financial and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- This Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product and communication efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.
- A key role will involve ensuring smooth execution for critical initiatives and contract negotiations. Responsible for multiple technology projects across multiple teams impacting all business units across a large financial services enterprise.

responsibilities:
- Define the product strategy and roadmap
- Understand and represent the needs and requirements of the customers
- Deliver requirements documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Drive new products through the development process introductions
- Perform product demos and orchestrate training for customers
- Propose an overall budget and secure funding to ensure success
- Set pricing to meet recovery and financial goals
- Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and maximize mutual opportunities
- Develop and manage the core positioning and messaging for the product
- Deliver monthly metrics including volume, savings, and expenses with forecasts
- Run beta and POC programs with early-stage products and samples
- Be an expert with respect to alterative / competing products
qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft products (Microsoft 365 and SCCM)
- Experience with software deployment processes and software lifecycle processes
- Proficient working with large sets of data (Excel and SQL)
- Familiarity with JIRA
- Experience working in a highly regulated financial institution preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in Product Management
- Demonstrated success defining and launching products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Product Management Certification (preferred)
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
skills:
- Strong understanding of product management discipline, including new product development, testing and deployment
- Prior experience in a high volume production environment
- Exceptional executive presentation and communication skills
- Excellent influencing and problem resolution skills
- Must be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding
- Must have strong leadership skills and qualities which enable you to work with peers and various levels of management
