Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Sacramento, CA
Work Schedule: Hybrid Onsite once per week (Wednesdays, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM core hours)
Duration: 12 Months

Position Overview:

We are seeking two (2) Software Quality Assurance Specialists to support a large-scale IT modernization initiative. The QA Specialists will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts for enterprise systems, including SAP and other integrated IT platforms.

The ideal candidates will bring extensive hands-on experience in test automation, test planning, and quality assurance within complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements to define clear and comprehensive test scenarios.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for enterprise applications.

  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, system, regression, and performance testing.

  • Create detailed test documentation, including test cases, results, and defect reports, using recognized test management tools.

  • Support integration testing and end-to-end validation across multiple systems and platforms.

  • Collaborate closely with development teams, business analysts, and other QA professionals to ensure software quality standards are met.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience analyzing requirements to define test scenarios and test coverage.

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automated testing, including functional, system, regression, and performance testing.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing and maintaining test scripts and documentation using test management tools.

Technical Requirements:

  • Expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks using tools and languages such as Python, UFT, Robot Framework, and VBScript.

  • Strong experience developing and maintaining UFT automation scripts, reusable function libraries, and object repositories for SAP, ServiceNow, and other enterprise applications.

  • Proficiency in API automation testing using Postman, Robot Framework libraries, or equivalent tools.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and ALM for test and defect management.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative software development environments.
