Job Details

Title: Payments Program Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ ( Onsite )
Type: Long Term Contract
Need 15 years of work experience
Card and Payments is Mandatory
Please note: There will be one F2F round
Required Visa independent consultants ( Citizens)

Key responsibilities:
Program manager for a large scale, complex and time-sensitive project in Payment s

areas

Establish integrated program plan including goals, high level timelines, key milestones.

Manage program risks and issues.

Ensure timely and precise communication with all stakeholders.

Handle program level changes

Ensure project status is shared via weekly status reports, steering committee reports, etc.

Track scope, timelines, risks, financials

Lead end-to-end execution of payment initiatives including:

New payment method integrations

Platform migrations

Regulatory compliance implementations

Fraud and risk mitigation enhancements

Ensure all payment programs adhere to local and international regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, PSD2, AML/KYC).

Partner with legal and compliance teams to conduct risk assessments and implement controls.

Manage relationships with payment processors, gateways, banks, and fintech partners.

Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and ensure partner performance aligns with program goals.

Act as the primary liaison between business units, technology teams, compliance, finance, and external partners.

Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and met throughout the program lifecycle.
Domain expertise

Understands the complexities of large program management, dependencies on other tracks

Strong technical background in payment processing systems, card management platforms, and related technologies.

End-to-end Payment process, including issuance, activation, and fulfillment.

Experience in formulating testing plan, designing test cases, executing UAT, and conducting workshops

Need to have strong background on multitasking, maturity to handle pressure, good understanding of testing/ execution/ client interaction.

Working knowledge of credit cards platforms

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Knowledge of payment gateways and integration processes.

Must be excellent communicator and has track record of working with senior stakeholders.

Excellent PowerPoint skills and ability to create a compelling presentation.

Should be Organized and proactive.

Must have the working knowledge on Jira, SAFe agile, software development, release planning & migration, testing.

Must have experience managing large programs for Banks and FIs
