Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Application Security Lead to design, implement, and oversee robust application security measures that safeguard our organization s software assets from cyber threats. This role requires deep technical expertise in application security and the ability to guide both security and development teams in adopting best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of application security policies, standards, and best practices in alignment with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Manage and mentor a team of application engineers to develop and drive initiatives that ensure product security.
- Foster a culture of security awareness across development and business teams.
- Conduct security assessments throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigations.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate secure coding standards, static/dynamic analysis, and automated security testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide expert guidance on secure architecture, threat modeling, and security controls.
- Oversee application security testing, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and code reviews.
- Monitor and analyze application-related security incidents, coordinating response and remediation.
- Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and trends in application security.
- Develop and deliver application security training to development teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure the security of third-party and open-source components used in applications.
- Maintain detailed security documentation including architecture, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications Must Have
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity policies.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity regulations, compliance frameworks, and industry standards.
- Hands-on cyber incident response experience.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Quick learner, adaptable to new technologies and evolving security challenges.
- Background in application development and support.
