Microsoft Functional Consultant | Remote Work

Job Description: Summarize the primary purpose & key accountabilities of the position, including the scope of responsibility. We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Functional Consultant with proficiency in Microsoft Project Online, Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate, SharePoint Online, and .NET. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in business and technical aspects, including analysis, planning, configuration, integration, testing, training, rollout, and support.

Office 365 tenant setup and configuration

SharePoint and PWA Configuration & Project Templates

Manage Workflow, Enterprise Project Types & Custom Fields, Project Detail Pages

Experience in Project Snapshot, Versioning, baselining, Critical path & Variance analysis

Project planning, tracking, scheduling, and resource allocation

Project Management security by user, group & category

Preparation of Configuration Documents

High-level Solution Design and Detailed Project Server Design

Develop and design brand-new web components using c#, XML, SQL and similar tools

Update and sustain the SharePoint development areas for web applications

Collaborate with the design team to review the brief and ensure that Project Online/SharePoint development takes place as per the schedule and stated process

Deploying new or updated solutions, ensuring they are tested thoroughly and meet the required standards.

Migrating data from legacy systems or other platforms into Project Online, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Portfolio & Project Management Functions, Linking & Integrating Projects

Working with DAX formulae for creating variables like Previous Month, Previous Quarter, etc.

Creating & Managing Graphical & Power BI Reports using Gantt, Excel, and Global dashboard

Integration with other Microsoft tools & Third-party tools

Troubleshooting & resolving tool issues and questions escalated by clients

Providing user training materials, documentation, and support for Project Online, helping users effectively use the platform.

Ensuring that Project Online sites and solutions meet security and compliance requirements, protecting sensitive data and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Deliverables: Indicate the deliverables/projects that this resource will be responsible for supporting in the following areas of Product Launch Solutions in collaboration & mutual agreement with the Pfizer team/stakeholders:

Microsoft Applications Customization

Project and program management

Business analysis

Requirement gathering and creation

Facilitation of key meetings and discussions with site and business stakeholders

Systems Integration

Testing

Training

Key Skillset for this Role: Indicate the technical skills required and/or preferred, as applicable.

Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile process.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Project Server, Project Online, Power BI, Power View, Power Automate, CSOM, JSON, REST API, MS Azure, JIRA, CI/CD pipeline deployment, .NET, MS SQL Server, FluentPro, React, SQL Analytics and Reporting Tools,

Office 365, Project Online, Project Professional 2007-2019, Project Server 2007-2019SharePoint Server 2007-2019, Dynamics 365 Project Service Automation

Hands-on experience in analysis, design, implementation, integration, training, administration, and support

Excellent documentation skills, including requirements, functional and technical specifications, and test script

Project Management Skills: Indicate the Project management skills required and/or preferred, as applicable.

Develops, writes, and communicates business requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of business solutions

Ensures that all deliverables are completed per Project Management direction and frequently communicates status

Authoring and execution of test scripts required to maintain a validated system state

Daily communication with the project management team to follow up with questions, track project specifications, and resolve project-specific issues

Experience in managing cross-functional teams located in various geographical locations

Creating technical spec sheets and linking issues to ensure clear requirements and documentation

Creating and managing projects in JIRA, including setting up project settings and workflows

Sprint management, backlog management, and Kanban boards for agile methodologies
