The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
The (S2P) MDG Systems Expert will design, unit test, debug, and implement SAP applications. The Systems Expert is required to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions to customers and be expected to perform Solution Architect type activities. The MDG Systems Expert should have strong application development and systems integration experience. This person will adhere to Raytheon development standards and methodologies. This person will be capable of recommending and performing design reviews with peers and be able to recognize good processes and designs within MDG system. This position will work as part of a SAP ES DT team.
What You Will Do:
The list of potential skills that an SAP MDG Systems Expert might be required to have can be long. The (S2P) MDG Systems Expert should be able to have a strong customer service approach and effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels. The (S2P) MDG Systems Expert will have to collaborate and work well with others and ability to lead technical development projects and engage vendor support on technical and functional issues and direct SAP/MDG development team to resolve issues.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

- Partner with functional teams to review functional specifications and produce technical design specifications
- Provide level of effort estimates based on functional specifications or business requirements
- Design, unit test, and implement SAP/MDG ABAP applications while working closely with functional teams
- Resolve open issues and make decisions about alternate design approaches
- Proactively provide work status
- Follow development standards and methodology
- Ensure that documentation is properly maintained
- Support the change control process
- Conduct design reviews with peers
- Support application upgrades
- Work Defects
- Develop test plans for new or modified programs
- Test, design, implement, and document fixes
- Perform issue resolution and root cause analysis
- Provide advanced problem solving and support, including on-call critical support
- Available to support off-shift system support
- Work effectively in a team environment, customer support environment and with all levels of the organization

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years applicable experience or equivalent to include MDG Systems Expert Experience and experience at an SAP/MDG A&D company with the demonstrated soft skills required for the presentation of ideas and concepts to stakeholders such as vendors, end users and senior management.
- 10 years of experience with SAP/MDG workflow framework and design work
- Experience and implementation experience using the scaled agile framework (SAFe) methodology, knowledge of the OSS process, and knowledge of the ABAP development process
- Experience with Raytheon's current Supplier processes, Raytheon's PRISM system, and Raytheon Enterprise Services Business System Experts (BSEs) and other software developers
- Experience documenting As-Is and To-Be processes
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience delivering ECC and DT solutions outside of the United States and Knowledge or skills related to User Experience (UX)
- Experience extending SAP standard functionality using ABAP Objects and other modern SAP technologies with excellent analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
- Raytheon CORE certification
