Position Title: IT Security Architect 3
Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid)
Position Type: Contract

Job Description:

  • This resource will provide cybersecurity architecture, design, and consulting services to the Client.
    Position will support the emerging field of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and support and defend traditional and non-traditional IoT networks.
  • Assist system engineers and operators implement and manage best practices to secure the evolving intelligent transportation backbone of the Client.
  • Evaluate current and future cyber-physical transportation systems and make recommendations for improving the security posture to protect the transportation infrastructure from cyber security threats of all kinds.
  • Assist in the selection, development, and implementation of systems and monitoring tools that focus on transport cybersecurity.
  • Serve as a clearinghouse for issues as they arise.

Knowledge and skillset requirements:

  • 3 to 4 years of experience as a Security Architect or related position is required.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience doing Risk Assessments.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience working to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience reviewing settings and configurations on systems and network devices for compliance with best practices.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience coordinating and conduction vulnerability scans.
  • Knowledge of NIST Knowledge of Intelligent Transportation Systems
