Full-Stack Production Support Lead

What can you expect?
  • Guy Carpenter IT Product Support seek a talented Full-Stack Production Support Lead with solid background in supporting Single-Page Applications, Microservices, and Document-style databases. Ideally who can also work out of our New York City office.
  • You will have responsibility for overseeing the maintenance and support of our MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack applications.
  • Leading a team of production support engineers, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of our applications.

We will count on you to:
  • Lead and mentor a team of production support engineers in maintaining and supporting our MERN stack applications in a production environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of our applications.
  • Monitor and analyze application performance metrics to identify and resolve any performance issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, including investigating root causes and implementing appropriate solutions.
  • Develop and implement best practices for incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in MERN stack development and production support.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and provide accurate estimates for project timelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of production support processes.


What you need to have:
  • Extensive experience in supporting Full-Stack applications,
  • Experience working and supporting enterprise cloud solutions.
  • Proven leadership, people management & mentoring skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.

  • Experience in supporting MERN or MEAN applications.
  • Experience with React or any JavaScript framework, Node, MongoDB or NoSQL database.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $81,400 to $162,700.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
