Job Description Introduction:
- Looking for a business product manager and product owner who has experience in Payments (bonus if in fraud payments) who can be a cross functional leader for a large-scale project.
- Needs experience in writing detailed business requirements, process flowing
- The key to success in this role is they need a very strong will to learn, ability to absorb and act on information quicky, and be the sole owner to take a concept or a challenge through to execution of the solution.
- This is not the role for anyone who needs a lot of support, education, or handholding. They need to be able to interpret the business, operational and technical needs of a product into consumable and thorough documentation for many different audiences (devs to business executives)
- Technical experience is not required; however, they must have experience in a role that stands as the connection between technology and business partners.
- This role plays everything from strategic thinker to writing procedures, process documentation and visual concept documentation.
- Need business requirement experience or payment/treasury management/fraud product experience.
Job Summary:
- Responsible for ensuring assigned product(s) is managed to a positive customer experience as it relates to sound infrastructure and integrity levels.
- Responsible for the management of assigned product(s), including product planning, product/process development and implementation, and coordination of partner readiness, objectives and programs.
- Management of risk, evaluation of product performance and measurement of results are key components of this position.
- The Product Manager typically manages complex products and processes with minimal oversight.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a market expert for assigned product(s) through research (internal and external), discovery, validation and customer interactions and presentations, white papers, etc.
- Define customer and internal partner problems by gathering and analyzing customer information, interviewing process owners
- Documenting buyer/user personas and use scenarios; solution requirements; represent voice of customer throughout requirements, design and development process; ensure solution addresses defined market problem(s) and aligns with solution development
- Manage requirements and tasks completion using Jira and agile processes.
- Define, measure and manage product risk
- Measure assigned product(s) success and communicate results 25% Product Promotion/Advocacy
- Create and own assigned task documentation, including process flows and procedures
- Develop training material
- Recommend criteria for testing newly developed products and enhancements to existing products
- Development and regular review of implementation workflows
Partner with Operations area(s):
- To ensure appropriate product stability
- To ensure an efficient escalation and resolution protocol is in place for production (system/operational) issues and outages
- Drive multiple initiatives and tasks to completion with complete ownership.
