Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and deliver infrastructure projects on time and within budget. This role involves planning, executing, and finalizing projects while coordinating internal teams and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate will define project objectives, manage quality control, and maintain detailed project plans that outline tasks, milestones, resource allocation, and status updates.

Responsibilities:
* Develop, present, and lead project planning efforts including project definition, project justification/NPV, proposals, success criteria, requirements definition and technical design
* Manage a project plan capturing milestones, risks, actions, issues, and dependencies
* Consult with business and IT partners to strategize, plan and implement projects within designated time and budget constraints
* Host and facilitate regular meetings with business and technical resources for status updates, requirements definition, technical design, architectural reviews, demand management, and audit review
* Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
* Maintain appropriate status reports, meeting minutes, and follow-up with business partners and technical resources
* Create and execute project work plans; revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
* Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
* Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
* Minimize and manage exposure and risk on projects
* Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
* Maintain project actual and forecasted budgets utilizing the various IT systems used for requests for expenditures, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices

REQUIREMENTS:
* 6+ years of experience managing small to large IT infrastructure projects through the full project lifecycle, leading cross-functional teams of 4-10 technical and business resources
* 4+ years of experience working directly with technical IT teams
Hands-on experience (2+ years) managing infrastructure teams across areas such as servers, storage, end-user computing, Active Directory, networking, and telecom is a plus
* 2+ years of experience developing and managing complex project plans involving multiple teams, dependencies, budgets, and reporting
* Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, integrations and process flows

Preferred Qualifications:
* PMP certification preferred but not required
* Strong background in IT infrastructure project delivery, including M&A-related initiatives
* Familiarity with technologies such as operating systems, security, networking, databases, programming, storage, and backup solutions
* Proven ability to manage project metrics and communicate delivery schedules, scope, risks, and budgets to stakeholders on a regular basis
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service and stakeholder engagement
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision, while maintaining a strategic, enterprise-wide perspective
* Skilled at building consensus and collaboration across departments, including executive leadership and technical teams
* Able to prioritize and execute effectively in high-pressure environments
* Strong interpersonal awareness and adaptability in communication styles across diverse teams
* Experience managing projects with compliance requirements such as SOX and PCI

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
