V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Technician for our premier client in Allendale, New Jersey.
WHAT YOULL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications
- Minimum two ASE certifications: One powertrain related.
- Certificate in Automotive Technology.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum years of relevant experience needed to perform the job.
- 3-5 years job related experience. Automotive background & technical experience.
- Automotive vocational technical training.
- Dealership product training.
- Basic ability with Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly organized and dependable.
- Ability to work well independently and with minimal supervision.
- Recent Automotive drivetrain diagnostic experience.
- Extensive knowledge as an Automotive Technician on vehicles.
Desired:
- Previous experience working as a Technician in an Engineering Test and Development Environment.
- Diagnostic experience including VAS testers.
- Self-organized.
- Organize and maintain a clean work environment.
- Resource management.
- German and/or Spanish language skills.
- Forklift certification and operation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reason, creative and strategic.
- Valid drivers license with good DMV record.
- Solid knowledge of the English language.
- Communication skills - interpersonal, presentation and written.
- Computer savvy - skilled in use of software/Engineering tools.
- Integration - joining people, processes or systems.
- Problem solving.
