Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Solution Specialist to join our team in Brooklyn, New York. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA Cloud solutions, with a specific focus on production planning. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams while delivering high-quality ERP solutions to enhance business operations.
Responsibilities:
Lead SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation projects, concentrating on the configuration and optimization of the Production Planning (PP) module.
Apply SAP Activate methodology to manage project phases, including discovery, preparation, exploration, realization, deployment, and ongoing operations.
Analyze business needs and translate them into detailed functional specifications and solution designs.
Configure production planning functionalities such as demand management, material requirements planning, and capacity planning.
Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules like Material Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Quality Management (QM).
Facilitate workshops, conduct user training sessions, and support change management initiatives with business stakeholders.
Oversee system testing processes, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Diagnose and resolve complex issues, providing post-go-live support and implementing continuous improvements.
Stay updated on the latest SAP S/4HANA features and industry trends to enhance system capabilities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing and supporting SAP Production Planning (PP) solutions, with 2 or more years in SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
Proficiency in SAP Activate methodology and Agile project management approaches.
Strong knowledge of production planning, material requirements planning, shop floor execution, and capacity planning.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications and embedded analytics is advantageous.
Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong communication and presentation capabilities.
SAP PP or SAP S/4HANA certification is highly preferred.
