Job Title: AppSec Engineer/ DevSecOps Engineer
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire
Location: Remote
Pay Range: $60/hr - $62/hr
Day-to-Day:
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
- Conduct secure code reviews to identify vulnerabilities in ASP.NET, C#, and SQL applications.
- Perform threat modeling and risk assessments during the design phase, particularly around APIs.
- Work with SaaS and DaaS platforms to strengthen application security.
- Contribute to automation that improves efficiency, reduces costs, or accelerates delivery.
Must Haves:
- 3 5 years of experience in DevSecOps, Application Security, and/or Software Security Engineering.
- Strong background in software development (ASP.NET, C#, SQL).
- Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with secure code review methodologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of application vulnerabilities and remediation approaches.
- Experience with SaaS and DaaS application security models
