Job Details

Job title: Cyber Security Analyst - AI
Location: Tyson's corner, VA(onsite is mandatory)
Visa: ship is required to obtain a secret clearance
 
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this hybrid role involve both traditional security tasks and AI-specific duties:
  • Continuously monitor network traffic, system logs, and security alerts using AI-powered Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to detect anomalies and potential security breaches.
  • Incident Response & Automation: Utilize AI-driven solutions to accelerate incident investigation, containment, and remediation efforts, automating routine tasks and providing clear, data-driven insights for faster resolution.
  • Gather and analyses data from global threat databases and internal systems using AI to understand emerging attack patterns and proactively strengthen defences.
  • Document security incidents, AI usage, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001) and legal regulations.
  • Work closely with data science, IT, and risk management teams, and help train employees on best security practices, including the safe use of new AI tools.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A Cybersecurity Analyst with AI requires a mix of technical and soft skills.
  • Technical Skills include proficiency in programming languages like Python, understanding AI and, experience with cybersecurity tools like SIEM platforms (both traditional and AI-based), data analysis abilities, and familiarity with cloud security on platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Soft Skills are also important, such as strong analytical skills, effective communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning.
 
Education and Certifications
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Computer Science is often required. 
  • Professional certifications can enhance career prospects, including CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or specialized AI security certifications
