Job title- Accrual Automation consultant
Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled contingent worker to support the automation of monthly accrual processes and contribute to ongoing S2R (Source-to-Report) AI-driven transformation initiatives. This role will help design, validate, test, and deploy automation solutions that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of our finance operations. The ideal candidate has strong finance process expertise paired with hands-on experience in automation, analytics, and AI-assisted workflows.

Please look for the following in candidates.

Experience as PM in a large Complex organization with experience in running Cross Functional programs.
Partner with engineering and finance teams to validate logic, build test scripts, and support UAT.
Experience with S2R transformation or Global Business Services environment.
Experience in design, validate, test, and deploy automation solutions that increase the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of our finance operations using AI models or AI-assisted workflows.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
3 7 years of experience in finance operations, accrual accounting, or S2R processes.
Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, UiPath, Power Automate, Python, SQL).
Strong analytical ability and comfort working with large data sets.
Experience supporting system implementations or automation projects in finance.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with GenAI or machine-learning tools in financial operations.
Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite etc.).
Familiarity with monthly close cycles and accrual methodologies (manual, forecast-based, model-driven).
Experience with S2R transformation or Global Business Services environment.
Prior work with experimentation, model testing, or AI prompt iteration.
