Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Workday Benefits and Advanced Compensation Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on configuration experience, a strong understanding of Workday HCM, and a proven track record working with Workday deployment partners or consulting firms.

This role involves end-to-end implementation activities, including client workshops, solution design, configuration, testing, and post-deployment support. You'll be part of a dynamic team that delivers best-in-class Workday solutions to a diverse client base.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support Workday Benefits and Advanced Compensation modules through full lifecycle implementations (plan, design, build, test, deploy, and support).
  • Conduct discovery sessions with clients to understand business needs and translate them into Workday solutions.
  • Configure Workday Benefits (plans, eligibility rules, enrollment events) and Advanced Compensation (compensation cycles, merit, bonus, stock plans) per client requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Integrations) to ensure seamless cross-functional delivery.
  • Provide expertise on industry and Workday best practices to guide clients in optimizing their processes.
  • Support data conversion, testing activities (unit, E2E, UAT), and cutover planning.
  • Document functional designs, test cases, configuration workbooks, and deployment artifacts.
  • Assist in knowledge transfer and training to client stakeholders and end users.
  • Offer post go-live support, issue resolution, and ongoing enhancements.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Workday Benefits and/or Advanced Compensation configuration experience
  • Experience with at least 2 full-cycle Workday implementations (preferably on the partner/consulting side)
  • Strong understanding of Workday's HCM core structure and dependencies
  • Familiarity with Workday-delivered reports, calculated fields, condition rules, and security concepts
  • Ability to gather business requirements, translate them into system solutions, and effectively communicate across technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Workday Certification in Benefits and/or Advanced Compensation (active or previously certified)
  • Experience working for a Workday implementation partner or systems integrator
  • Exposure to Open Enrollment processes, ACA compliance, or EIB data loads
  • Familiarity with integrations (benefits carriers, payroll providers, etc.)
  • Experience in client-facing roles with the ability to lead configuration workshops and status meetings
