About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join the Credit Risk and Integrated Data Management & Reporting (CRDR) team within Enterprise Functions Technology. This role supports strategic regulatory data and reporting initiatives, contributing to the transformation of credit risk systems into a modern, cloud-ready platform.
You will lead and contribute to moderately complex software engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions that meet regulatory and business requirements.

About the Role

This role supports strategic regulatory data and reporting initiatives, contributing to the transformation of credit risk systems into a modern, cloud-ready platform.
You will lead and contribute to moderately complex software engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions that meet regulatory and business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to software engineering initiatives within a technical domain.
- Participate in large-scale planning and strategy development.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications and services.
- Analyze and resolve moderately complex technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering peers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Act as an escalation point for technical issues and project risks.
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, demonstrated through work, consulting, military service, or education.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: Java, Spring Boot, Angular, C#.
- 2+ years of experience in cloud-native application development.
- Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB and SQL Server.
- Strong background in ETL procedures, SQL queries, stored procedures, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with cloud architecture and best practices.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, software patterns, and refactoring techniques.
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Understanding of relational database design and optimization.
- Ability to improve system performance through code refactoring.
- Experience integrating disparate systems and data sources.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.

- Work Arrangement: Hybrid role based in Chandler, AZ. Onsite presence required 3 days per week.
