Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Customer Data Cloud (CDC) Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Customer Data Cloud (formerly Gigya) solutions to help businesses manage customer identities, preferences, and data. You will work closely with marketing, IT, and data teams to ensure seamless integration of customer data into personalized customer journeys, data privacy compliance, and a unified customer experience across multiple channels.

Responsibilities:

  1. SAP Customer Data Cloud Implementation & Configuration:
    • Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP Customer Data Cloud (CDC), including identity management, customer consent, preferences, and data privacy functionalities.
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to define requirements and customize SAP Customer Data Cloud to meet business needs.
    • Configure and maintain the platform to ensure secure and compliant management of customer data, focusing on identity resolution, consent management, and unified customer profiles.
  2. Customer Data Management:
    • Leverage SAP Customer Data Cloud to manage and unify customer data from multiple touchpoints (e.g., website, mobile app, social media, offline).
    • Implement data governance strategies to ensure the accuracy, security, and privacy of customer data across the platform.
    • Support the creation and maintenance of comprehensive customer profiles, ensuring that all customer interactions are recorded and tracked for a personalized experience.
  3. Data Privacy & Compliance:
    • Ensure that SAP Customer Data Cloud is implemented in full compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, etc.), focusing on customer consent management, data retention, and privacy policies.
    • Configure consent workflows, preferences, and data retention processes to adhere to legal and organizational standards.
    • Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure that customer data is handled appropriately across systems and that customer rights are respected.
  4. Integration with Other Systems:
    • Integrate SAP Customer Data Cloud with other SAP solutions, such as SAP Marketing Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP CRM, and external third-party platforms (e.g., CRM systems, eCommerce platforms, marketing automation tools).
    • Enable seamless data synchronization and customer experience optimization by integrating customer data from multiple sources.
    • Work with the IT team to ensure smooth and efficient data flows, providing a 360-degree view of the customer across the enterprise.
  5. Customer Journey Personalization:
    • Collaborate with marketing and customer experience teams to use SAP CDC to personalize customer journeys across web, mobile, and email channels.
    • Leverage the platform's features, such as customer segmentation, behavioral data, and preference tracking, to deliver personalized content, offers, and recommendations.
    • Use customer data to enhance customer engagement and retention by delivering targeted and personalized experiences.
  6. Analytics & Reporting:
    • Develop and implement reporting solutions using SAP CDC to analyze customer data and measure the effectiveness of customer data strategies.
    • Work with marketing and data analytics teams to derive actionable insights from customer data, improving customer retention, loyalty, and lifetime value.
    • Create dashboards and reports for stakeholders, providing key metrics on customer behavior, consent management, and data privacy compliance.
  7. Testing & Quality Assurance:
    • Lead testing activities for the SAP Customer Data Cloud platform to ensure the system meets business and technical requirements.
    • Ensure data integrity and platform performance by executing functional, load, and security testing.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to customer data, platform performance, or integration with other systems.
  8. Training & Documentation:
    • Provide training and support to internal teams on best practices for using SAP Customer Data Cloud, including customer data management, consent management, and privacy controls.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the configuration, integration, and operational procedures of SAP Customer Data Cloud.
    • Ensure that documentation reflects any updates or changes in the platform's features or configuration.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of [X] years of experience working with SAP Customer Data Cloud or similar customer identity and data management platforms (e.g., Salesforce Identity, Okta, Adobe Experience Cloud).
    • Proven experience implementing and managing customer data platforms in a secure, compliant, and customer-centric manner.
    • Experience working with SAP Marketing Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, and other SAP solutions is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their implications on customer data handling.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in SAP Customer Data Cloud configuration, including identity management, consent management, and preference tracking.
    • Strong understanding of APIs and integration methods for connecting SAP Customer Data Cloud with other systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP Commerce Cloud, CRM systems).
    • Proficiency in data management tools and platforms, including data governance and security best practices.
    • Knowledge of web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and integration with eCommerce platforms and marketing systems.
    • Experience with data analysis tools or reporting tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, Google Analytics, or similar.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data and integration issues.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, legal, IT, and business stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring high data quality and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Certification in SAP Customer Data Cloud or similar platforms.
  • Experience with SAP Identity and Access Management or similar identity management solutions.
  • Experience in customer journey mapping and personalization strategies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure) and their integration with SAP solutions.
