Quality Assurance Consultant

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Addison, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Support LLE testing of multiple initiatives
• Own initiative QA support
• Coordinate E2E testing
• Address issues, testing status reports, risk management and communication between developers, clients, and management

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on RAFT and UFT experience
• Able to create UFT QTP automated scripts from scratch, and update existing ones
• 3+ years of experience with API Testing - Rest and SOAP
• Familiar with SOAPUI and POSTMAN tools
• Able to write Oracle DB SQL queries

Desired skills:

• Experience with XMLs, XSDs and JSONs
• Skilled with backend testing dealing with file processing and MQs
• Capable of analyzing failures by referring to logs on the Windows server and Splunk
• VBA for Macros
• Experience working within an agile development process (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) from the test design, test automation, and execution perspective
• Quick learner who can grasp various complexities of the requirements and systems being supported
• Demonstrated flexibility for operating and delivering results in a dynamic and complex environment
• Capable of owning work and coordinating end to end, including closing out issues, managing risk, providing accurate status, and communicating with clients, partners, and management
• Team player
• Ability to work on multiple applications and projects

Pay range: $50.42 - $58.42
