About the Role

Join a global engineering team utilizing advanced design tools and techniques to develop state-of-the-art CT systems and support leadership in medical diagnostic imaging technologies. As an ECAD Designer, you will be responsible for circuit board layout based on schematics provided by engineers. This role includes creating circuit designs, maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), and working with suppliers to support prototype development. We're looking for a well-rounded designer ready to take on a variety of exciting challenges within our dynamic and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform circuit board layout and schematic entry

  • Create and maintain BOMs in the local database

  • Support prototype development through supplier engagement

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement robust ECAD practices

  • Ensure documentation and design meet standards for analog, digital, and power circuits

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in electrical design or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience in circuit board layout

  • Proficiency with Cadence System Capture

  • Proficiency with Cadence Allegro

  • Strong understanding of standard schematic practices

Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Experience with Valor or Cadence True DFM

  • Understanding of circuit board design for analog, digital, and power systems

  • Prior experience working with GE, GEHC, or Plexus

  • Familiarity with digital electronics, switches, and flux capacitors

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to plan, document, and execute projects/programs

  • Ability to multitask across electrical and hardware project teams
