  • Create and maintain detailed Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Reports, and Test Traceability Matrices aligned with system requirements and FAA standards.
  • Conduct test case development based on functional decomposition, use cases, and stakeholder requirements.
  • Develop test harnesses, stubs, and simulators as needed to support automation of complex ATC workflows and system interfaces.
  • Support Interface Control Document (ICD) validation through automated interface testing and protocol analysis.
  • Collaborate with requirements and systems engineering teams to ensure test coverage aligns with verified and validated requirements (via DOORS, Jama, etc.).
  • Work with FAA and contractor teams to conduct formal test events including dry-runs, Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), and Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E).
  • Perform system verification and validation (V&V) to ensure compliance with FAA performance, safety, cybersecurity, and integration requirements.
  • Document and track defects, coordinate resolution with development teams, and support root cause analysis of test failures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of test automation tools, methodologies, and test infrastructure for ATC system environments.
