Job Title: Oracle Developer

Location: Tallahassee, FL(Day One Onsite)

Client: State of Florida

Department: FDACS

Experience: 15+

Description:

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in application development using Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX, and PL/SQL.

Experience with Oracle Database development, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Middleware components (e.g., WebLogic Server, Oracle HTTP Server).

Experience integrating applications with enterprise financial systems such as Florida PALM and FLAIR.

Knowledge of State of Florida accounting practices from a technical implementation perspective.

Demonstrated experience ensuring PCI compliance in application development.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

Knowledge of the Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) or Florida PALM

Experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of application and data security best practice.

Experience working in a government or public sector environment.

Educational qualifications meeting at least one of the following levels:

Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or another related field or equivalent work experience.

Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate, Oracle APEX Developer, Oracle Middleware certifications) are preferred.
