Description:
Looking for a Mainframe Developer to work at a Financial Services client within their Card Application Pricing platform. Your work will be aiding in the migration from this financial services existing mainframe platform to AWS. Your work will result in determining APR Fees for card customers. Being apart of this team, he / she will be responsible for aiding in the migration of moving off the mainframe to AWS. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a group of other 7 existing java developers. In order to be successful in this role, you need to have good technical acumen, attitude, and willingness to work in a team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
-Ability Perform in-depth analysis of existing codebases to understand functionality, dependencies, and optimization
-Ability to write and maintain programs using DB2 and IMS databases to support business operations and data processing needs.
-Proficient in the documentation of code functionality and architecture to facilitate future enhancements and migration efforts
-Optimize database queries and structures for performance and scalability
-Ability to analyze legacy applications and document their functionality to support rewriting and migration to AWS cloud infrastructure.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $73.00/hr.
