Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead and execute complex sourcing and procurement initiatives that align with business goals and operational efficiency. This role involves developing sourcing strategies, managing vendor negotiations, and leveraging market insights to deliver maximum value and cost savings.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and manage end-to-end sourcing projects from RFP creation through contract execution. This position requires strong analytical skills, negotiation expertise, and the ability to collaborate across finance, legal, and operational departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute complex sourcing projects using tools such as RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Develop comprehensive bid packages and analyze vendor proposals to identify cost, performance, and risk insights.
- Lead cross-functional teams in defining requirements, evaluating suppliers, and developing negotiation strategies.
- Conduct contract negotiations and manage NDAs, MSAs, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Build and maintain strong vendor and stakeholder relationships, often interacting with Director-level stakeholders.
- Develop and present supplier scorecards, sourcing analytics, and business case summaries to guide decisions.
- Collaborate with Finance and Legal to ensure compliance and alignment with company policies.
- Lead continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives across sourcing processes.
- Facilitate vendor performance reviews and identify opportunities for process or service improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or finance with a strong focus on negotiations and contracting.
- Minimum 1 year of cross-functional team leadership experience.
- Proven expertise with E-sourcing tools, procurement processes, and project management.
- Strong contracting, vendor management, and negotiation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and presentation development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master s Degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field (MBA/JD preferred).
- Experience leading sourcing efforts in corporate, manufacturing, or retail environments.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret market intelligence.
