Description
TEKsystems is seeking a Vendor Management Specialist (VMO Analyst), BioMed and Clinical Engineering. This role will partner closely with BioMed leadership to drive commercial governance, performance management, and contracting discipline across biomedical engineering, diagnostic imaging maintenance, and related OEM and third-party service agreements.
Manage contract lifecycle for BioMed vendors, including MSAs/SOWs, amendments, renewal planning, termination rights, and negotiation strategy coordination across Purchasing and Legal.
Serve as the primary VMO interface to BioMed leadership to define scope, operating model needs, and commercial strategy (including insourcing/outsourcing scenarios and transition sequencing).
Lead and coordinate competitive sourcing events, RF(x) processes, vendor down selects, and BAFOs for BioMed, diagnostic imaging maintenance, and related service categories, in collaboration with IT leadership and Purchasing.
Establish and monitor performance management constructs (SLAs, response times, uptime expectations, escalation protocols), and drive remediation where performance deviations occur.
Provide analytical support for cost reduction initiatives, benchmarking, utilization-based optimization, and contract rationalization across equipment service portfolios.
Maintain portfolio governance artifacts: vendor profiles, risk assessments, value realization trackers, and QBR materials.
Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and executive-ready reporting for BioMed vendor performance and financial stewardship.
Coordinate cross-functional alignment with IT, Cyber, and operational stakeholders on connected medical device considerations, including cybersecurity and integration requirements.
Provide support and lightweight training to BioMed leaders managing vendor relationships, including playbooks, templates, and negotiation readiness.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $80.00/hr.
