RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their team onsite in Mountain View, CA.
Summary:
Come join us as a Senior Product Designer on the Core Platform Experiences team, where we are shaping the future of platform enterprise applications, development tools, and configuration experiences that power innovation across Company. We are seeking a designer who thrives in solving complex platform challenges, brings expertise in web applications, analytics, and data visualization, and can frame solutions with strategic and systemic thinking.
This role is ideal for a passionate designer who is both a craftsperson and a systems thinker-someone who partners across disciplines, advocates for customers, and creates elegant solutions that scale across enterprise platforms.
Responsibilities:
* Translate complex platform and enterprise workflows into simple, elegant, and intuitive designs
* Participate in customer research with clear goals, testable hypotheses, and actionable learning plans
* Explore a wide range of conceptual solutions and narrow effectively through experimentation and validation
* Design and test analytics and data visualization experiences that support insight-driven decision making
* Engage with end-users and stakeholders frequently, iterating quickly through prototypes and feedback cycles
* Apply insights from research and data to deliver customer-centric, scalable solutions
* Collaborate closely with product designers, researchers, content strategists, product managers, engineers, and analysts
* Actively contribute to design critiques and reviews, providing and integrating constructive feedback
* Maintain a strategic design perspective, backed by expertise, customer evidence, and industry best practices
* Balance multiple projects effectively, using strong communication and time management skills to set expectations
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Product Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent work experience); Graduate degree preferred
* 4+ years of experience in product design, interaction design, or service design, preferably within enterprise applications or developer platforms
* Experience designing for and contributing to design systems and reusable component libraries
* Strong foundation in design principles, systems thinking, and scalable frameworks
* Demonstrated ability to design web applications and data-driven experiences, including analytics dashboards and data visualization
* Skilled in conveying ideas through storyboards, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual mockups
* Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills across disciplines and levels of the organization
* Mastery of Figma
* Customer-obsessed mindset with proven ability to simplify complexity and drive adoption
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
