Job Title - Supply Chain Data Architect
Location:
San Francisco Bay Area, CA Hybrid or Remote

Pay Rate: $50-$80/hr. on (W2), based on relevant experience

Duration: 06 Months

Job Description:

Looking for an experienced Supply Chain Data Architect to join our team and drive the development of scalable data infrastructure and analytics solutions. You ll play a key role in designing and building data pipelines, architecting ETL processes, and enabling seamless access to data via tools like ThoughtSpot and Tableau. This role focuses on supporting supply chain operations specifically inventory, planning, and purchasing using modern platforms like Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and deliver scalable ETL processes, data pipelines, and data analytics solutions.
  • Design solutions aligned with Supply Chain business requirements.
  • Map supply chain data from Cognos Cubes and other data sources.
  • Lead technical teams and take full ownership of the SDLC cycle and deliverables.
  • Build and deploy data engineering solutions in Databricks or similar platforms.
  • Integrate structured and unstructured data from various sources.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and high-quality output.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Management, or Data Science, with a focus on Supply Chain data.
  • Deep understanding of retail and supply chain business models (inventory, planning, purchasing).
  • Strong experience with Databricks, ThoughtSpot, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
  • Experience in migrating data and applications to ThoughtSpot.
  • Solid background in data architecture and data management.
  • Strong communication skills able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience leading IT teams and working within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience mapping and integrating Cognos Cubes.
  • Ability to translate complex data problems into actionable business insights.
  • Retail or e-commerce industry experience.
