Job Title - Network Engineer
Location: Pasadena, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village CA – Dallas TX
Job Summary:
Seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support telephony build environments for a major financial client. The ideal candidate will have a strong networking background, extensive scripting experience (with Golang or Python), and familiarity with telephony systems in enterprise-level call centers. Candidates with banking or financial services experience are highly preferred.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Education:
- 4-year Technical Degree (preferably in Computer Science or a related field)
- Certifications (at least one):
- CCNP or CCIE (Cisco Certified)
- JNCIS or JNCIE (Juniper Certified)
- Experience:
- 5–8 years in IT or Network Engineering
- 3+ years scripting in Golang or Python
- 3+ years’ experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps automation tools
- 2+ years working with telephony systems in production call center or enterprise environments
- Industry Preference:
- Candidates with experience in banking or financial services environments will have an advantage.
Key Skills:
- Golang or Python scripting (for automation and network configuration)
- Network architecture, routing, and switching
- Telephony infrastructure (Call centers, VoIP systems, etc.)
- IaC (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) & DevOps practices
- Working in high-compliance, security-sensitive environments (like financial institutions)
