Job Summary:
Long-term Contract
We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead Citrix transformation and modernization projects within a complex enterprise IT environment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing Citrix-related initiatives, such as platform upgrades, cloud migrations, virtualization rollouts, and user experience optimization. This role requires strong leadership, technical coordination, and stakeholder management abilities to ensure the successful delivery of Citrix transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Citrix transformation initiatives including discovery, planning, execution, and transition.
- Work closely with infrastructure, desktop, security, and application teams to coordinate upgrades or migration of Citrix environments (e.g., XenApp/XenDesktop to Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops on-prem/cloud).
- Define project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables in alignment with business and IT goals.
- Drive vendor engagement, licensing analysis, infrastructure readiness, and integration planning.
- Oversee performance tuning, user acceptance testing, and go-live strategies for Citrix platforms.
- Identify risks and dependencies, develop mitigation plans, and provide ongoing updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate change management and end-user communication to ensure minimal disruption.
- Maintain documentation, compliance, and post-deployment support strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of project management experience in IT infrastructure or EUC (End-User Computing) domains.
- 10+ years of IT project management experience with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Citrix environments.
- Proven atleast 5+ experience delivering Citrix transformation projects or large-scale VDI rollouts.
- Familiarity with Citrix components such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), Citrix Director, and Citrix Studio.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, storage).
- Excellent project planning, scheduling, and resource management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities across technical and non-technical teams.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
