IT Business Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Work with IT and the Business to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives for Digital application
• Combine business and technology skills with strong leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Serve as the ultimate facilitator between Business and IT in truly understanding the business's needs and plays a key role in the overall management and success of a project through the entire project lifecycle
• Use proven methods and tools, lead the planning, eliciting, analyzing, validating and managing of requirements, business processes, high-level solution design, data mapping, system analysis, test case design, and implementation planning and support - in partnership with Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, Architects and IT interfacing groups
• May also be called upon to lead other IT project work based on changing project demands

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 4 year experience in related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical business analyst role in a project-based agile environment
• Has worked projects that include creation of websites including user registration and logging capabilities
• Extensive experience in supporting an agile scrum team stand up new web site as a product owner
• Good time management skills; ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Able to communicate effectively at different levels within the organization
• Able to understand system interaction and map data from source to target application
• Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Previous success working in a dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Fluent in technology and strong knowledge of project and software development methodologies/techniques
• Solid presentation, facilitation, interview, and workshop skills
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-management skills
• Microsoft Office- Intermediate Word, Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint

Desired skills:

• Working experience in Agile tools like Jira
• Able to develop application knowledge by reviewing documentation
• Experience in standing up a website with at least 20 pages with capability for user enrollment, eligibility check and login or other functionality that require multiple complex API integrations

Pay Range: $43.56-$51.56
