RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a Business Analyst for an opportunity with a large client in downtown Kansas City, MO.

Summary:
This position will require someone to work onsite 5 days a week. The Business Analyst will work with business partners across multiple functions to collect, analyze, design and document business requirements for projects of moderate to high complexity. This position is responsible for formulating and defining systems modifications and enhancements based on both user needs and broad knowledge and understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements, and ensuring they are thoroughly tested. The Business Analyst will be part of a highly functioning team to align technology solutions with business strategies.

Responsibilities:
* Collect, analyze, design and document business and functional requirements of moderate to high complexity, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes, utilizing Agile methodology processes and techniques
* Formulate and define systems modifications and enhancements based on both user needs and broad knowledge/understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
* Manage application testing; develop test plans, test scripts and complete acceptance testing for projects of varying degrees of complexity and system upgrades
* Coordinate communication on application issues between internal customers and external vendors/IT partners as part of the project implementation
* Create and manage implementation plan for production roll out of new products or processes
* Develop, document, and enhance system processes, as appropriate
* Create and update training and administration documentation
* Identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience required
* 6+ years of experience in a business analyst or similar role required
* Experience with software testing required
* Intermediate knowledge of the software development life cycle preferred
* Intermediate knowledge of wealth management or banking systems preferred
* Strong customer-service and relationship building skills
* Excellent presentation skills
* Effective ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
* Ability to communicate in user-friendly language to both technical and non-technical end-users
* Approximately 5% travel is required
* Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
* Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
* Experience with Agile methodology preferred
* Experience with large scale projects preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
