JOB TITLE: Principal Software Engineering

REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker

JOB LOCATION: 20205 North Creek Pkwy Bothell, WA 98011

DUTIES: Define and drive overall strategy for the delivery of various AT&T web initiatives including native app, mobile and desktop. Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, UFT/QTP, Katalon, Browserstack, REST assured, web services testing, SOAP UI, JMeter, Blazemeter, and Perfecto. Research, analyze and recommend new automation technologies, rationalize opportunities, standard processes, tools, and technologies to help ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources. Build product expertise to identify and close gaps in automation test coverage in AT&T products. Drive the adoption of best software engineering practices including CI/CD and automated testing practices: Microservices backend and front-end. Work with a team of Software Developers in Test and Quality Assurance Engineers responsible for developing and maintain AT&T customer experience. Lead overall testing initiatives and provide quality sign off to biweekly releases and deliveries to production including post-production support. Establish clear SLAs for the technology development/delivery vendor partners and teams and closely monitor SLA compliance in terms of application quality, maintainability, scalability and security. Collaborate closely with client product teams, user experience and engineering teams to set up optimal agile testing scrum pods to maximize software engineering throughput, velocity and overall efficiency. Provide functional and technical leadership to other lead engineers, architects, product managers and test engineers. Design and build test automation frameworks or architecture, work with team team to execute functional and non-functional testing requirements or performance and load testing, API testing, and security testing. Define QA policies, procedures, standards, and metrics. Select and implement automation tools, writing and reviewing automated test scripts, develop and implement testing strategies for product launch. Provide testing sign off product releases, oversee QA aspects for project planning and execution, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management. Utilize Java, C#, Python, TestNG, JUnit and Ruby. Utilize Agile/scrum development principles.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and five (5) years of progressive, post- baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive, post- baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing Selenium, UFT/QTP, Katalon, Browerstack, REST assured, web services testing, SOAP UI, JMeter, Blazemeter, and Perfecto; utilizing CI/CD and Microservices backend and front-end; utilizing Java, C#, Python, TestNG, JUnit and Ruby; and utilizing Agile/scrum development principles.
