Description
We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Solon, Ohio. In this long-term contract position, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of custom software solutions, including the Valtronic Integrated System. This role requires expertise in software development, database management, and documentation, with opportunities to collaborate with stakeholders to optimize system functionality.
Responsibilities:
Perform updates and modifications to system scripts, databases, and other program-related files as needed.
Analyze and document incidents and system changes in compliance with established procedures and regulations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and identify active and inactive components of the Valtronic Integrated System.
Execute a two-week sprint for initial knowledge acquisition, ensuring thorough evaluation of covered features.
Provide remote support aligned with U.S. time zones to ensure system functionality.
Extend and refine existing system documentation to enhance clarity and usability.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of modules such as Training Portal, Stockroom, Quality Management System, and Production Electronic Router.
Ensure software validation and adhere to industry standards, particularly in medical device manufacturing.
Utilize SAP Business One and related tools to integrate and optimize system performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
Proficiency in msAccess and Visual Basic (VB).
Familiarity with SAP Business One and related systems.
Strong experience in software validation and database management.
Knowledge of medical device manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
Ability to work autonomously while maintaining attention to detail and rigor.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on teamwork in international environments.
