We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment, where you will be at the forefront of innovation. As a Permanent Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and optimizing control systems and robotic systems to enhance our manufacturing processes. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives on challenges, is passionate about problem-solving, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, design, and implement control systems to improve production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
2. Program PLCs and PC-Based Controls using Ladder Logic and other programming languages.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand process requirements and translate them into effective control systems.
4. Optimize control systems and processes through data-centric strategies to increase performance and efficiency.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and robotic systems.
6. Oversee the installation and maintenance of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
7. Train staff on the operation and troubleshooting of control systems.
8. Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure our control systems are up-to-date and effective.
9. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to ensure the safe operation of control systems and robotic systems.
10. Document all control system designs, modifications, and procedures for future reference.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controls Engineer in the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in PLC Programming, PC-Based Controls, and Ladder Logic.
4. Solid understanding of control systems, robotic systems, and their applications in the Manufacturing industry.
5. Proficiency in data-centric optimization to improve control system efficiency.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
10. Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the Manufacturing industry.
