Job Details
Position: Risk Manager
Location: Remote
Position: CMMC Specialist (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification)
Hours: 20 40 hours/week (variable based on project needs)
Responsibilities:
- Review client s secure enclave architecture and CMMC control interpretation, providing recommendations to ensure compliance
- Assess CMMC readiness and identify any gaps before formal certification
- Evaluate NIST SP 800-171 compliance for systems supporting government agencies
- Assist in creating and refining POA&Ms (Plan of Action and Milestones)
- Provide direct support during formal CMMC assessments
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Certifications: CCA, CCP, RP
- 5 10 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, with strong knowledge of CMMC framework and NIST SP 800-171
- Ability to translate security requirements into actionable implementation plans
