JD 7171 Endpoint Support Technician (Must reside in Sacramento area to be Considered)

Overview

A skilled Endpoint Support Technician is needed to provide hands-on technical support for workstation hardware, Windows 11 environments, user profile issues, device imaging, lifecycle replacement activities, and daily operational support. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service skills, and experience supporting enterprise-level environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripheral hardware
  • Perform Windows 11 deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Complete hardware and software inventory tasks, including user data and software review
  • Perform computer lifecycle replacement activities, including imaging and device preparation
  • Diagnose and resolve user issues related to hardware, software, and profiles
  • Support conference room equipment, meeting technology, and audiovisual needs
  • Complete assigned tasks and document work in a ticketing system
  • Maintain strong communication with end users and technical teams
  • Provide on-site support and occasionally travel between local office locations

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience providing technical support in an enterprise environment
  • Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 operating systems and user profile support
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Minimum 2 years of imaging and deployment experience
  • Experience installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and preparing hardware including printers, plotters, and related peripherals in a networked environment
  • Experience with OS and hardware lifecycle replacement
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle (for occasional local travel)

Desirable Skills

  • CompTIA (A+ or equivalent) certification
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving complex software issues
  • Experience with enterprise software installations
