Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network-Savvy CNO Developer to join the Network Devices Team within our mission-critical Research & Engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software development, CNO (Computer Network Operations), and reverse engineering, particularly within the context of network infrastructure. You will contribute to both new capability development and enhancement of existing systems targeting network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
LCAT Requirements:

10+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree, or

8+ years of experience with a Master's degree, or
-
6+ years of experience with a Doctorate
Note: A minimum of 3 years of experience must be specific to cybersecurity/CNO development

Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and enhance CNO capabilities specifically targeting network devices

Perform C development and reverse engineering in embedded/real-time environments

Work in a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) environment to support low-level software tasks

Collaborate closely with fellow CNO developers, reverse engineers, and analysts on high-priority network missions

Integrate with broader R&E and operational teams to deploy secure and advanced capabilities
Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in C programming and reverse engineering

Hands-on experience with CNO development for network devices

Strong understanding and hands-on experience with network protocols

Familiarity with or experience working on network appliances such as routers, switches, or firewalls

Experience developing or integrating code within a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS)
Preferred Qualifications:

Additional experience with firmware analysis, embedded development, or custom protocol analysis

Ability to independently conduct vulnerability research or contribute to exploit development
