Oracle Cloud Developer

Position Summary

• This role is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction, and oversight to a team as they deliver technology solutions.
• Key responsibilities of the role include developing solutions and processes for delivering features based on their knowledge of design/architectural patterns and Agile/DevOps practices. This role ensures the systems design and requirements are aligned to achieve the desired business outcomes, and that team practices and coding/quality principles are aligned to achieve the desired technology outcomes.
• They have built significant experience through multiple software implementations and have developed both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide functional consulting services by acting as subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire systems development lifecycle
• Configure the Oracle EBS/ Cloud Applications to meet client requirements and document application set-ups
• Identify business requirements and map them to the Oracle EBS / Cloud (functionality and guide technical team for technical design specifications and solution for Data Conversions / Extracts, application extensions, Reports and Interfaces with other applications.
• Identify functionality gaps, perform POCs and develop solutions / workarounds
• Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems
• Define testing scenarios and develop test scripts
• Develop end-user documentation and training materials
• Expertise in Fusion OTBI reporting.
• Familiar with BI publisher reports.
• Interact with the project team members responsible for developing reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions
• Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology
• Work closely with the technical teams in analysis, design, development and testing cycles.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex system and user issues and coordinate issue resolution efforts across peer support groups, technical support teams, and vendors as needed
• Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
