Our client is looking for a Field Service Technician for a 3-month contract in Walpole, MA 02032.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and cable installation
Break-fix experience with laptops, desktops, printers, and servers. - Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Hardware and Software installation and configuration experience
- Smart hands network experience, rack n stack, cable management.
- CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certification
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and use a ladder (up to 10 ft reach)
- General contractor skills (drill usage, etc.). Light contractor work, such as drilling through and mounting hardware into walls and countertops, may be required.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Must complete client-specific training and pass certification exam
What You Will Be Doing
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Provide on-site support for staff
- Hardware and Software installation and configuration.
- Perform quarterly preventative maintenance (some after-hours required).
- Terminate, test, and replace network cables (Cat5/Cat6/Cat7)
- Organize and manage cable layouts for optimal performance.
- Train staff on new systems.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and configurations
Asset & Inventory Management
- Track hardware, software licenses, and inventory levels.
- Assist with rollout and upgrade projects
- Maintain a secure and efficient network infrastructure
- Support online ordering and delivery platforms
