  • Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical design and development of electromechanical products, preferably in HVAC or home appliance industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product development from concept to production in cross-functional and global environments.
  • Deep understanding of HVAC product requirements, compliance standards, and technical documentation.
  • Strong expertise in plastic and metal component design, including injection molding, die casting, stamping, and sheet metal forming.
  • Proficient in tolerance analysis, GD&T, and 3D CAD tools (preferably Siemens NX); familiar with PLM/PDM systems such as Teamcenter.
  • Skilled in DFM/DFA principles, design validation, and integration with electronic and ID teams.
  • Knowledge of advanced manufacturing and joining techniques, including ultrasonic welding, SMT, gluing, and surface finishing processes.
  • Capable of translating customer or system-level requirements into detailed design specifications.
  • Hands-on prototyping skills and practical familiarity with workshop tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with proven experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with international suppliers and across time zones.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting; understanding of energy modeling and sustainable design is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills, including fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Experience in technical program management or project leadership is preferred.
